For getting the most out of the sessions:

  1. Stay Curious

  2. Give it a go

  3. Reserve conversations for tea and refreshment times           Here's a bonus 1:

  4. Do what works best for you (and your child) and don't feel restricted by guidelines!

  • To build a village where the weight of motherhood is lifted

  • To create a shared space for radical self-love

  • To make a safe space for mothers to show up as they are

  • Because when mothers are supported, the whole family thrives

THE VISION

MY STORY

Hello, I'm Helen,

Becoming a mum four years ago was a transformative experience, and the journey continues to unfold. While motherhood has undoubtedly brought immense joy, it has also led me through emotionally challenging terrain.

Motherhood is such a pivotal time in a womans’ life and yet it often feels like a whirlwind with no time to pause and reflect.

I don’t think that my experience is unique to me and

research shows that participating in the arts positively impacts on mental health.

I've taught creative dance workshops for children on a myriad of topics/ designed a holistic learning handbook funded by UK Aid and also founded SPLASH Dance Company—an inclusive group. SPLASH has showcased diverse performances at notable venues.

Having spent a decade as a community dance practitioner in a variety of contexts, I have seen first-hand the positive benefits of the arts.

I recently returned to the UK, Devon, recalling fond memories from my time here at Dartington College.

I would now like to merge my two worlds together and offer mothers a curated time for conscious self-expression -

why not give art a go!

with love, Helen

If you feel something calling you to dance or write or paint or sing please refuse to worry about whether you’re good enough.

Just do it.
